Can I use cash?

Our venue has gone cashless as of 6/1/2024. We accept credit and debit cards.

There is an ATM in the lobby for those who may require cash for certain private events. 

Is smoking/vaping allowed?

Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the Saenger Theatre. Please see the staff for designated smoking areas outside of the building.

What steps can I take to get into the event quickly?

Arrive early and be prepared! Have your ticket out and ready to be scanned. If you have printed your own ticket, make sure it has a clearly legible printed bar code. If you have an electronic ticket on your smartphone, make sure the ticket is pulled up and the bar code is clearly visible. Removable items should be out of your pockets and ready to be placed on the search table. Have your bags open and ready to be searched when you reach the search table. Avoid bringing large bags and prohibited items. Follow instructions from security and staff.

What is the ticketing policy?

All guests entering the facility must have a valid ticket to gain admission. Saenger Theatre personnel may request to see your ticket at any time during the event.

If you are interested in purchasing tickets to a Saenger Theatre event, you can do so at the Saenger Theatre Box Office at 6 South Joachim Street, Mobile Civic Center, or you can do so at the Civic Center Box Office located at 401 Civic Center Drive or online at

The Box Office hours are Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.. The box office is open to accept ticket purchases in person, not by phone. For information on upcoming events and ticket prices call the Box Office at (251) 208-5600 or (251) 208-7381. 

Ticketmaster is the only authorized ticket-selling agent for the Saenger Theatre. The Saenger Theatre cannot be responsible for the authenticity of tickets obtained through any other sources. We will not honor counterfeit, duplicate and other invalid tickets.

*Wheelchair seating locations are available upon request from the Saenger Theatre. The Box Office policy is to sell one wheelchair ticket and one companion ticket together. Patrons with special needs are encouraged to contact the Box Office in advance at 251-208-7381.

Can I leave the venue and re-enter?

Re-Entry is prohibited. Guests will not be permitted to leave an event and re-enter the same event.

Do you have a fund-raising program for non-profit organizations?

Oak View Group offers occasional fundraising opportunities to non-profit organizations at the Mobile Convention Center and Saenger Theatre by allowing them to staff concession areas to raise money. For more information, please contact us for eligibility requirements.
